When the honor of Dorne is called upon, however, the Dornish quickly unite. They are by far the most united people in Westeros, sharing a common identity (with the exception perhaps of the Ironmen) and a fairly strong political hand being able to use their emotions at will. There are basically two instances when the Dornish unite against an enemy: either they are provoked, say, by murdering one of the royal family, or a king they respect calls their banners. A wise king who is not respected by the Dornish will resist the temptation to test Dornish loyalty, or else find a rebellion on his hands.
